The Future of Mobile Begins This Week at Mobile World Conference

Jonathon Byrd Customer Success Director, DialogTech

Today marks the beginning of the world’s largest gathering of mobile-related businesses, Mobile World Congress – where mobile is everything. Barcelona is accommodating over 100,000 attendees from all over the world this week, and DialogTech is ecstatic to be among those exhibiting to this massive audience.

There are a variety of exciting things to see here at the Fira Gran Via, including:

  • Samsung’s preview of the upcoming versions of their flagship phones, the S7 and S7 Edge. Exciting new additions include waterproofing, larger batteries, and newer, sleeker designs.
  • A keynote speech from Mark Zuckerberg occurring in the Hall 4 auditorium today. I’m sure we’ll hear insights on the future of Facebook and his vision of mobile’s social future. Be sure to watch it live here at 6pm tonight (12pm EST/11am CST).
  • The Global Mobile Awards are occurring throughout the week to celebrate the past year’s innovations in applications, social and economic development, devices, and technology.
  • News on the race for the best 5G internet for mobile devices. Verizon and AT&T are here to preview the speeds for their upcoming 5G internet, providing us mobile fanatics with the data we want and need more quickly.

Our Favorite Mobile Marketing Stats

As always, we love to hear about innovation in mobile. Especially from the world’s biggest leaders in the mobile space. More mobile devices and more mobile innovation is leading to more mobile marketing. And what makes us happy is the result: more phone calls from mobile marketing to businesses every day – that marketers are able to optimize by using call attribution and conversion technology.

If you’re attending Mobile World Conference, stop by and visit us in Hall 5, Booth 5I31! We’re located within the Illinois.gov area and would love to talk.
