In light of our recent rebrand in which we evolved from Ifbyphone to DialogTech, we’ve been thinking of new ways that we can further live by our credo of putting human conversation first.
When we acquired another floor in our building as our team expanded, we encouraged our employees to take the stairs. We’ve since gone even further by providing standing desks to any employee who wants one. Now we’re going to take it a “step” further…by counting steps. Watch my video below to learn the details of our new program, in which DialogTech employees are now expected to reach 10,000 steps a day by August. Who says a tech company has to do everything using technology? Out with Slack and Skype and in with…human dialog.
Update: April Fools!
While I do believe that we should continue to press forward with human dialog in mind, I (needless to say) won’t be triangulating employee smartphones to track their steps! I’m proud of the activity that I see at this company, and I’m proud of the way we continue to create and stand behind a product that puts dialog first.
