We’re thrilled that DialogTech has been named a finalist for The Drum Search Awards USA in the Most Innovative Search category. The analytics we provide our clients is having a real impact on businesses results, and it feels great to be recognized through such a highly acclaimed institution.

Our nomination is based on DialogTech’s work with national chain Roy’s restaurants via digital agency partner Roger West. Roy’s is a national upscale dining branding with 21 continental US locations that specializes in Pacific Rim fusion cuisine. Roy’s digital marketing agency, Roger West, brought the project to DialogTech with a joint goal of optimizing Roy’s paid search and display campaigns to increase reservations, private dining bookings, and gift card sales.

Step-By-Step Optimization

Through a strategic approach, we were able to help Roy’s and Roger West understand:

  • Which times of day, keywords and ad creative were driving the highest-converting calls
  • What was being said on calls and how that influences the likelihood of the caller making a reservation
  • The role of non-branded keywords in bringing first-time customer to Roy’s
  • How to optimize programmatic display and paid search messaging to re-engage those who had visited Roy’s site but did not convert online or over the phone
  • How to train individual locations on the importance of answering phone calls quickly in order to provide a positive customer experience and boost reservations

Within seven months, we helped Roy’s and Roger West increase reservations by 434%, decrease cost per reservation by 38%, and increase call conversions by 463%.
