What is your name?

Benjamin Cohen

Do you have any nicknames?

Where are you from?

Skokie, IL

What is your role at DialogTech?

Senior Software Engineer

What is the most innovative project you have worked on in your time here?

I’ve had the privilege of helping design and implement the routing engine of our latest product release, LeadFlow 2.0, which makes it easy for marketers to monitor, evaluate, and manage pay-per-call campaigns. I loved taking an idea into full fledged implementation and seeing it recently presented to the public. The exciting part was working through how to engineer the product to be open-ended enough for future changes and also efficient enough to support the telephony.

What would your theme song be?

Something Wild – Lindsey Stirling: There is always something that will not go according to plan and people in life that will not do what they should. But you need to keep going, work your way back home, and you will survive. Don’t get fooled or lose yourself.

Do you have any hidden talents?

iPhone or Android?

What was the last company you had to call?

What’s your favorite quote?

“If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, who am I?” – Hillel

Favorite thing to do in your free time?

Study Talmud

If you could live inside a movie, what movie would that be?

I’d love to be a (non-soldier) elf in a Lord of the Rings movie. To be surrounded by peace and nature, only leaving when obligated.
