LSA 2015: 50 Billion Reasons to Get Smart About Mobile and Local Search Today

DialogTech

Today we’re excited to be in Hollywood, CA for the Local Search Association’s (LSA) annual conference, where 300 attendees and 33 exhibitors will learn about how the shift in mobile advertising is transforming local search.

If you’re fuzzy on the details of how mobile and local search are so intimately connected, here are some numbers:

  • Mobile searches in the U.S. will drive over 50 billion calls in 2015
  • 50% of all mobile searches are conducted in hopes of finding local results
  • 50% of consumers visit a store within a day of a local search on their smartphone
  • More than 60% of consumers have used location information in ads and say that it’s important for stores to have their address and phone number in those ads
  • 68% if consumers on smartphones used the “Get Directions” or “Call” button on a smartphone local listing

I could go on, but hopefully you’re beginning to see the picture I’m painting for you here. With the rise in mobile phone searches, it’s more important than ever that companies know what keywords, PPC and display ads, web pages, TV and print ads, direct mail, and other sources drive calls, opportunities, and revenue. Not only can DialogTech help you attribute inbound calls, but we can also help you qualify and score each call to ensure that it is routed to the appropriate person.
